The hostess froze ice cubes and made ice rings with colorful fruit and berries! She used the ice to keep the champagne and white wine cold or it could also be used for non- alcoholic beverages such as Martinelli instead!!
It looked so pretty and festive!
I can't wait to try it for my next party !
She froze a holder in the middle of the ice ring to hold the champagne ! The ring was so frozen solid that it took a long time before it even began to melt.
These were the ice cubes. She froze berries, parsley, mint, lemon, lime, oranges, etc. So easy and looked so pretty and functional.
My friend also made a Christmas fruit tree using a styrofoam cone and covering it with silver sparkly wide ribbon . She then used toothpicks for grapes and strawberries and stuck them into the styrofoam. She also added some greens.
I wanted to share this great idea before New Years!
Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year filled with health, happiness, prosperity, and love!
Fruit in ice is fun. I have some flowers and things to freeze into ice and macro. Got the idea from a Macro Photography magazine. Very fun. Love them in cubes too. Great for drinks. Here's to 2024!
ReplyDeleteI love all of those ideas. Wish you a happy and healthy New year!
ReplyDeleteAlways love those fancy ice cubes! Happy New Year, Judee.
ReplyDeleteMay 2024 hold all that you need!
ReplyDeleteOur Christmas starter was summer fruits served on sticks, stuck into a watermelon half. It looked very pretty, as does the ice bowl above.

ReplyDeleteI love decorative ice cubes, and these are such a wonderful ideas. In the past, I made ice Luminarias. I really had to plan ahead to have enough of them, but they looked beautiful, because I had used greenery and cranberries in the frozen part, and the little candles illuminated everything. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of fruit in ice.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! May the coming year be filled with joy, success, and wonderful moments for you and your loved ones. Cheers to new beginnings and endless possibilities in the year ahead, Judee!

ReplyDeleteI love how festive they look. A friend made cranberry juice and cranberry ice cubes for our Christmas breakfast mimosas and they were so fun. The boys just enjoyed them in water.

Oh i love clever ice cubes! In summer I make tons of lemonade ice cubes, then add them to a dispenser of sweet tea to make Arnold Palmers on tap! Everyone goes wild, hahaa! xoxo
