I've posted many of the recipes that I've been making such as the my beautiful tian (link to recipe) composed of colorful layers of eggplant, zucchini, tomato, and potato. I also made a lemony Israeli salad (link to recipe), a zucchini and eggplant dip (link to recipe), and one of my favorites- spring roll in a bowl (link to recipe).
I made a few new purchases that have brightened up my kitchen this past month.
This large cheerful looking platter has been a joy to serve on and display. It has a similar theme to one of my tablecloths that I bought in Tuscany.
One of my friends gave me these adorable little peppers from her garden. I don't know what they are called, but my husband is enjoying them. They are not super hot but do have a mild kick. I looked them up online and they are possibly a small Peruvian pepper called a drop pepper.
We have been enjoying lots of summer fruit.
This colorful Spanish trivet was a gift from my son and daughter in law. They brought it back from their recent trip to Barcelona along with some interesting candy for us to taste.
Love the flower arrangement.
Enjoy the remainder of summer!
Fall is on the way!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful platter, tablecloth, trivet, the works! Your kitchen looks so cheery. I am kicking myself for not having bought table linens when we were in Tuscany. I think it was just a case of beauty overload. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, so I bought nothing.
