I take a 3 mile morning walk on the beach and in the adjacent park every morning. The sunrises are beautiful.
This morning on my walk on the marina intracoastal side, I saw a bird that I did not recognize.
Any suggestions or guesses about the bird?
We are on the water so it has to be one of the water birds. I took the photo of the bird on the rocks in the marina area on the other side of the road from the ocean.
I live on the beach, but it is very developed with lots of high-rise buildings that are as high as 55 floors high. The condo building that I live in is only 23 floors high because it is an older building.
I see lots of beautiful feral cats on my walk.

Beautiful area Judee! I love the Atlantic side of the world as much as the Pacific side, so possibly it is that I really love the beach!
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful area! The Pacific and Atlantic oceans are so different from one another, but both are wonderful to take a walk on!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to start the day with a walk!!.......Abrazotes, Marcela
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy our daily walk too! Such a beautiful place to walk with friends...kitties are so cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, Judee -- and any walk with a friend is just the best. If you learn the name of your mystery bird, be sure to let us know!
ReplyDeleteThis sunrise is breathtaking! And I'm so impressed by your walking regimen. You truly live in paradise. 🌞🌊🌴
ReplyDeleteWalking on the beach is so special. We live 500m from the sea and if we go away to an inland city we often take a day trip to the water.

ReplyDeleteHello Judee,
ReplyDeleteA three mile walk every morning, that is awesome. I love your Green Heron, the Terns and the cute kitties! Beautiful beach scenes. Great selfie and collection of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
I think that's a Green Heron you have there. Nice bird, and I think I'd do a 3 mile walk for that sunrise.
